Our primary objective is to train instrumentalists and composers by developing the potential of each student, in the belief that art – and mainly music – represents the pinnacle of human thought and the main tool for growth of the individual and society.
For this reason, the Conservatory is considered not a mere institution, but a dynamic community of people actively involved in the social and artistic life of the city of Milan, as well as part of the national network of Conservatories with which it shares intentions and initiatives.
The Conservatory, therefore, in addition to training young musicians through the highest educational standards, is also a prolific production center open to all musical languages, starting from its consolidated tradition in ancient and classical music, up to research applied to more innovative musical systems, in a constant dialogue between past and future generations of artists.
