Gloria Martinez began his musical studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Madrid, under the direction of the Harpa Professor Mª Rosa Calvo-Manzano, obtaining the qualification of extraordinary end of career prize. Participates in the international courses organized in Santu Lussurgiu (Sardinia), Tuscania (Italy) Santiago de Compostela, Bern (Switzerland) and Daroca, taught by Nicanor Zabaleta and Nuria Llopis (baroque harp) among others.
He won the first prize in the National Harp Contest organized in Madrid by the “Ludovico Harpist Association”. He was a member of the Municipal Orchestra of Valencia for three years. He has collaborated with different orchestras and choirs: National Orchestra of Spain, Radio Spanish Television Orchestra, Gran Canarias Philharmonic Orchestra, Santa Cecilia Orchestra of Pamplona, ​​Valladolid City Orchestra, Cadaqués Orchestra, Enchiriadis Choir, Choral Santo Tomas de Pamplona and the Music Chapel of the Cathedral of Pamplona. He has participated as an interpreter in the third guitar cycle “Gaspar Sanz” and in the Tribute to Giuseppe Verdi on the centenary of his death, both organized by the Cortes de Aragón, in the Aljaferia Palace, as well as in the “Luis” Room Galve “of the Auditorium of Zaragoza. He has performed in Bucharest (Romania) and Zagreb (Croatia) organized by the Spanish embassy in those countries. She is also a collaborator of the Albicastro Ensemble Suisse and the group Lux Bella, specialized in ancient music. He is a member of the Ars Cordi group and the Accademia Musicale “l’Ottocento” specialized in the interpretation of unpublished works of chamber of the XVIII and XIX centuries. He collaborates with the Editorial House Flatus (Switzerland) in the reissue of sheet music for solo harp and chamber music of 19th century composers. Together with the guitarist and singer Ana Carpintero he has recorded the CD “Dolcissimo Sospiro” of Italian and Spanish music of the XVI and XVII centuries (Editorial Comuniter SC 0020), the double CD “Reason and Heart. Music at the time of Francisco de Goya “(CodaOUT 2027), the album-book” Adónde vas Fernando incauto”. Patriotic songs of the War of Independence “(Coda OUT 2027) and has collaborated in the recording of several CDs with diverse groupings of chamber and orchestras.
He is an integral member of the Group Enigma Chamber Orchestra of the Auditorium of Zaragoza.
Performed pedagogical cycles of dissemination of the harp, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada. Parallel to his concert activity he develops an important pedagogical work in the Conservatory of Music of Aragon, of which he is Professor by opposition since 1990.
